Most of the great fortunes of the wealthy families in the US were founded in the dirty 30's.: Rockefeller, Carnegie, and the steel man (cant think of his name just now).
Scared by an unexpected and swift layoff? Well scars heal and this will help you realize that the only real job security is yourself!! Recognize this opportunity and welcome aboard the internet, where there are do many opportunities, the only real danger is information overload.
You are and you have all that you need to start a new business opportunity. Not likely it is going to be the fast & easy route so many emails claim. But there is a REAL opportunity here to make some significant income and generate some residual income for later. Take your time and explore; get to know others doing the same; help enough other people get what they want and need and you will always get what you want & need too.
So rejoice - this is the day the Lord has made and we will enjoy being in it. We are in a country and in a time when opportunities abound!!

Redistribution of wealth
Rarely works because those that receive never rise above their circumstances. Those that fund the redistribution will in time stop generating excess wealth and the whole society will suffer.
Back in the 40s a lady named Ann Rand wrote a book about this subject called "Atlas Shrugged". Read it.
Before government intervention faith based organizations provided help to those in need. They did it in such a way that individuals and families were able to stand on their own 2 feet in time. Now we foster generational participants in the dole which dose not provide enough to allow those receiving it to hold their heads high.
The Lord Does take care of those that strive to take care of themselves.

I see you are pushing your conservative anti-government stance. I am daily grateful for my affordable health care AND yeah even for the free & safe shooting galleries that allows addicts protection from living & shooting up in the streets. I pray every day for P Obama - only wish him success and wellbeing.
I agree that each of us has a responsibility to maximize our potential and opportunities. TOTALLY BUT that does not provide comfort to the mentally or physically ill or challenged. We are NOT all created Equal. Those of us who are functioning in a productive and healthy way and enjoying the fruits of that should not be (in my humble opinion) looking down on those who cannot ... or will not.....I am not in a position to judge what keeps another in sad & desperate conditions.
I just praise the Lord that I am not there...because for the grace of God...that could be me. I
I started on the internet very early this morning....too excited not to.....need to go back and do my inspirational reading before I get too pushy & judgemental myself.
