What Are The Best MLM Leads?

I get asked all the time, what are the best mlm leads?

Honestly, they are the ones you create, the people who come to you first will always be more responsive than a stranger you call.

But in terms of generating your own high quality leads, your best mlm lead will be the one that jumps through the most hoops.  What does that means, if you have 10 fields on you autoresponder form, any lead who fills out all will be very targeted.

If you have ever worked with cpa ads, you can see a correlation between lead quality and the amount you get paid for the lead.  Forms that only require a zip code or e-mail address will pay $1-$1.50 while the huge 20 field insurance  lead forms will pay you $30 bucks.  When a lead is willing to give you that much info, they REALLY WANT what you have to offer them.

But remember there is a downfall to this methodology, when creating the best mlm leads, your conversion rate will inevitable suffer.  While you may get a 30% conversion on you capture page when requesting only name and e-mail address, adding in a required phone number field could drop you conversions to 20%, or maybe even worse.

In the hunt for the best catch, you will of course catch less.  You have a few options, one you could increase your traffic.  Well I lied, in reality that's not always an option.  Come on, if it was that easy people would be doing it all the time, traffic is not always something you can control, and if you could, of course you would increase the traffic.

The best option, at least in my opinion, to create the best mlm leads would be to leave the extra forms as optional.  I have tested it myself, and my optin rate has dropped maybe 1%, but I tweaked a few other things and made my rate even higher than before.  The important thing to remember is to always be testing things on your capture page, and the only things you have to have are an e-mail address for follow-up and the person's name to personalize your e-mails.

Now for a typical mlm lead capture page, I don't really recommend more than 3 fields to get the prospect into your pipeline, but further down the line, like if offering a position in your downline which requires an application, make sure to have more fields, but the number is up to you.  Always split test your forms, which aweber allows you to do.  Now go out there and make it a better tomorrow for you and your family.
