What are the Niches of the Future going to behave like?

For lack of a better way of saying it a niche is something that creates a form of energy. If I were to say baseball what would be the first picture that enters your mind? Is it a batter standing up at the plate or a crowd of fans?

Being a niche indicates a level of action and our current niches focus on moving massive amounts of information it's obvious the new and improved niches of the future will maintain this activity for some time to come.

Rather than guess what they will look or be like let's start by seeing how they will behave!

Communications

As streaming media has increased and already shows increased brand recognition and sales returns one can only guess how the PPP's are going to make out. I mean how many people have converted to cable from commercial TV might offer an indication of its potential?

Now it's another matter in the health related field where image transmission on a life threatening matter requiring robotic performance might be a new niche to look for. What would be its generator?

My guess is holographics where speed factors in accuracy and image enhancement will definitely be here soon. It is also a for sure that the communication networks will be scrambling to fight over the rights as the government sets the protocol for release and may the best lobbyist win!

Natural Resources

Some of our more recent natural disasters will require systems that can automate in a timely and accurate delivery as another new niche. Our future health is under a constant threat from airbourne, terrorism, food handling, and sanitation problems.

It's been proven that health care is not able to handle large volume pandemics to isolate and create immediate vaccines. It stands to reason that GPS will become more integrated with receiving stations that can monitor temperature and perhaps a bacteriological agent not too far from now and will Google Earth own this?

Although we now have the population boom somewhat under control it's been reported that by 2050 the state of our water will be at an extreme condition and quite possibly wars will be waged over this if not the gas pumps. My guess is we are going to be looking at setting up a means for extracting elements in abundance to convert into water within the next 5 years as hydrogen fuel cell technology addresses the greenhouse effect. "Desert sand?"

Ok enough of the dreary stuff and let's get into the just for fun niches...

Entertainment

iPods, iPhones, iMail, etc. all mean interactive is going to be the niche generating source. The schools teach it, business encourages it, yet people have a hard time understanding it. With all the concern over identity theft we all know from those sci-fi movies that there will be voice recognition tools coming along soon enough so get ready for another download to web cams for blocking in chat, blogs, telecommunications, etc. as each program is out to protect their intellectual property rights.

CSS not only is cascading in script but in streaming media where special dubbing and backgrounds for animation will be the sources of amusement. As iPods have taken power from the CD's you can expect this to change the future of the movie industry soon.

The newer movies will include change background to a beach scene or skycraper, etc and more than likely dress the actors like a Barbie Doll. Expect multiple language selections during the global entertainment era. Mind control themes will replace the sitcom on cable. All you will have to do is select from any global station that is playing let's say a comedy you want to watch and a drop down menu will convert it to the language of choice.

Do you have any other entertaining ideas to share on future niches?

I'm interested in connecting up with all who are interested in changes and perhaps be the ones who create and direct them into mainstream reality!
