What Does Free Really Mean?

So is there really anything that is free in life?  I live close to Las Vegas and I’m constantly bombarded with ads to come and stay at a certain hotel casino for free. Why do they do this?  Because they know if I come and stay at their hotel that I will spend money (it’s a good trade off for a “free” room).  In network marketing we hear the word free all the time, free conference call, free download, free money, free this, free that. We are so attracted to the word free that spammers use it like crazy to catch our attention and we now have to disguise the word in our emails (F.ree, F-R-E-E, *free*, f.r.e.e) so they don’t go to junk mail.  But you know that nothing is really for free, in fact, you have probably heard the expression “Freedom isn’t Free.”

So is there really free coaching? Is it really free? No it’s not. A good mentoring program is really a system you plug into that gives you correct information that when you apply it to you business consistently and continually you will get desired results. You may actually have to put in some time and work hard. You will need to learn, grow, improve, and even serve others. The hardest thing that you may get to do is take accountability for your actions and change what you are doing, or who you are doing it for. Yes, I just said that nasty six letter word, CHANGE. Change is inevitable, but growth and improvement are optional. Change is difficult for most because no one likes to be wrong and admit it (especially if you have spent a lot money). You see, with learning correct principles you are now held to a higher standard of accountability, but the more you know, the more choices and options you have.

I believe network marketing is about serving people. Zig Ziglar said it best when he stated, “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.” And that sums it up for the real professionals out there. Those who know that by helping others they will benefit as well. They are not here to pitch you a product or company, they are here as teachers, coaches, students, and friends. They do not profess to know everything, but they do a pretty good job at finding the answers (Professional Pointers). So if you are looking for a hand out, visit a soup kitchen. If you are looking to change your life, change your thinking, change your habits, change your results, and change your life, get ready to plug in and do some work.
