What is on your "Bucket List?"
Do you have a "Bucket List?" I know that was the name of a recent movie but I have a reason for asking...
Every time I tell someone about something I am doing on my "list of things that I have always wanted to accomplish" they say "Oh...your Bucket List." So now, I just call it my Bucket List.
My Bucket List includes things that I have wanted to do my whole life. All of the items are important to me because they are my list. Some of the items may be silly to others but because they are things that I wanted to accomplish in my lifetime, they are mine. No one can make the list for me and no one can accomplish the things that I want to achieve.
For instance, I worked in "corporate world" for years. I am determined not to go back to that world but, instead, build a successful home-based business. I have been there and done that with corporate America. Not bad, but "no thanks." Not any more.
I wanted to learn how to play the piano ever since I could remember. I will now begin my fifth year starting in January. When my piano teacher told me that I was now at the "intermediate" level recently, I about fell off my piano stool. Me, at the intermediate level. Wow! Perseverance at its finest. It has taken one lesson a week and many hours of practice but I acheived that level with the help of my instructor.
The point to all of this is that if you begin slow and steady, persevere, practice the art of Network Marketing and learn from people who are willing to help you, then Success will come.
Just as with the piano, there are two methods. The "watch and mimick what I am doing" method. That method allows you to begin playing songs immediately. But what have you learned? You skipped all of the lower level skills that you need to build your strengths upon.
The other method, which is the method I am being taught, is the slow and steady method. I virtually started out at the Kindergarten level. That is what I tell everybody because I knew nothing except that the instrument sitting in front of me was a piano. I am now at the intermediate level because I didn't rush it. I have taken the time to learn the methods, practiced countless hours every week and everything I am being taught is a stepping stone to the next level.
This is EXACTLY like Network Marketing (MLM).
How can you expect to start at the top when you have not gone through the steps to find out how to get there? With no instruction and mentoring, you are going to burn out very quickly and get lost in the "where do I go from here" phase. This method will take you spiraling downward until you finally give up.
Take inventory of where you are at and then decide: "What is on my Bucket List?"

Work
That is the magic. The trying leads to doing and it is all a result of the energy (work) applied. Apply energy towards a goal every day and you will acheive that goal.
Well stated.

Wow a Great Word Picture
That was Brilliant Dianne,
My Favorite Words You are now passed to the "intermediate"Level. In Network Marketing that Means 10,000.00 a Month if it takes 2 to 5 years to figure it out will it be worth the work? Yes Great Writing Dianne Thank you.

My Bucket List
My #1 motivating goal at present is to generate a significant cash flow over the next 90 days to 6 months (over and above what I am already making in other words). I plan to take my Dad on an all-expenses paid trip to the 65th D-Day Anniversary holiday/historical tour next June to Great Britain France, and Belgium. My dad was a teenager in 1944, but served in the RAF in the late 1940's and early 50's, and today is a well-respected military historian and author. I know that having this short-term goal will drive my business and my success...
One "trick" I've learned with having both short and long-term goals is don't just visualize yourself achieving something, but do more than that -- FEEL IT as if it has already happened! For example, if you want an Aston Martin, don't just think about getting an Aston Martin, think about how it will make you FEEL, the emotions and pride etc. Really get into it -- see yourself being handed the keys at the dealership, imagine the exhilaration of the wind in your face, the warmth of the sun, the feel of the steering wheel in your hands, the smell of the new car, imagine crying and yelling out loud with joy, the song on the radio that will be playing full blast, and the way it will make you feel inside, etc.
I've already visualized driving across southern England, riding the ferry from Portsmouth to Cherbourg with the English Channel air in my face, then into Normandy beaches, the countryside of France and Belgium, and all the while sharing stories of lost friends, the sadness, learning more about the history, but also the camaraderie and the overall experience with my father. Those specific feelings and sense of accomplishment are infinitely more motivating than mere things or money.
Hope others share more here as these "bucket lists" can be a great motivator (and be they small things or grand ones). Thank you Dianne!
