what is the difference between MLM prospects and Opportunity Seekers

The question, what is the difference between MLM Prospects (MLM Leads) and Business opportunity seekers may not have been on your mind until now. The reason is, most network marketers really haven't distingquished the differences.

When we talk about an opportunity seeker, that can be a wide range, after all pretty much every one is an opportunity seeker. For example, when you get gas for your car, if one gas station is cheaper even by a couple of cents than another, which are you most likely to buy gas from, the cheaper one right. Now you just sought out the opportunity to save money on your gas, but did that mean your seeking to build or start an MLM or home business?

What I and many network marketers consider an MLM prospect, is someone who, is or has been in a network marketing business. Back to the gas station scenario, there are some MLMer's who still believe in leaving their business card on the gas pump when they leave, and there may be a slight , very slight possibility that some one will pick up the card, and join their MLM business. Well that person that picked up the card, is the type that people like me look for, in other words I wait until they go from opportunity seeker to MLM prospect.

So how do we attract MLM prospects vice opportunity seekers? Well that has alot to do with your advertising media. For example if you are advertising a website that is primary based on making money or starting a home business, then your most likely to attract opportunity seekers, if on the other hand you market a website that helps current networkers build their mlm business, then natuarally you'll attract MLM prospects.
