What My Sponsors Never Told Me

I started my journey in network marketing by walking in my front door, jumping on the 
internet, and picking a business that was going to "change" my life.

I must admit, that this wasn't the best route to take when making a life changing 
decision.  I was now however, on a mission and committed, not to anyone or any company, but 
to myself.

I knew I could attain success in network marketing and ultimately create time freedom, but I ended 
up spending countless hours doing everything else. I was cold calling, placing sizzle cards
at every gas station in town, hounding my friends and family to join me, going door to door in my local business district, holding company mixers in hotels, and handing out flyers in front of shopping centers and the local mall.

I remember one guy saying to me,  "You know, your going to be really great at this when you figure out what your supposed to be doing." His comment struck me in such a way that I became frustrated and angry with myself and my sponsors for waisting my time. I was getting desperate for a solution and very close to failure, when I found Magnetic Sponsoring. 
 
To my surprise,  this little $39 dollar book made a huge impact on me. Mike's words came to inspire me, educate me, challenge me, and as I read, my purpose in network
marketing became clearer.

How simple the concepts were and yet I completely missed them. My sponsors never mentioned that the entire point of this industry was to serve others first; to give without expecting anything in return; and to provide valuable information that will help others succeed. Mike's words made perfect sense to me.
 
Since I was a teacher by profession, having other people's best interest at heart came naturally.  As a teacher, my focus was to provide solutions for my students and now through Magnetic Sponsoring I was simply able to transfer that attitude of service into guiding network markerters to their success.  But something else was missing.

I quickly came to realize that there really were no secrets in this industry, there were just things that I didn't know yet.  I grabbed a highligher and kept reading Magnetic Sponsoring over and over again, until it was part of my subconscious. 

Mike said,  "The biggest factor that will determine if you are successful in your business is whether or not you create a mindset that encourages and empowers you to take the daily actions and deciplines required for success". That was it, my mindset needed to change. I submerged myself with the great leaders like Napolian Hill, Joe Vitale, Donald Trump, and Bob Proctor, thru cd's, books, conference calls, webinars, and live events.

With my mindset, drive and focus in the proper place, and using Magnetic Sponsoring I started creating 7 to 12 leads a day as opposed to 7 leads a month. I really did became the hunted intead of the hunter. My business had done a complete 180 degree turn in record time.  People were calling me and my pipeline was beginning to fill. I had earned over $200 in affiliate commissions alone and I was esatic.  No more standing outside handing out flyers, no more going broke before I ever sponsored anyone, and I was finally able to go to the gas station just to fill my car with gas. lol

I was now a student/teacher of the industry and as my studies continued, I came to understand what Donald Trump's dad had always told him, "Know everything you can about what
you're doing".
 
So when Mike released Traffic Formula, I dove into the material head first, educating myself on domains, the power of attraction marketing by using You Inc, designing my own capture pages, understanding target markets, and lead generation techniques.  My sponsor at the time had said to me,  "good luck in becoming a guru" and politely let him know that guru's are just people who have done their homework.
 
Traffic Formula became my complete education in marketing. I have been able to create a professional online presence which is responsible for my sponsoring over 1,123 people into my downline.  I feel that Traffic Formula is worth 100 times what I had paid for it. I would be completely lost without it and would have never achieved this level of success.  There is not a day that goes by now that I am not teaching what I have learned from both Magnetic Sponsoring and Traffic Formula.  I feel blessed to be able to help people who were in the same position I was in a few years back.
