What To Do If Your Company Won't Let You Advertise...

"Hi Mike, my name is Kelly I have a question for you... My company doesn't allow us to advertise.

With the MLM Traffic Formula, is there anything in there that isn't considered advertisement?  If you could get back to me and let me know I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks so much for you help."

Thanks for submitting your question into the "ASK MIKE!" box found at the bottom of each issue Kelly...

Let me answer this question and then allow me to ask for your help at the end of the issue by voting in a little poll I need to take.

Alright, today's issue is pretty short-and-sweet because this isn't rocket science, and in one way or another, we've discussed the solution to this problem before.

Anyone who's been reading this newsletter for more than a few weeks knows how I feel about companies that don't let you advertise so I'm not going to dive into that pool again, but I'll just say this...

Would you buy a McDonald's if they didn't allow you to serve food?

Then why would you buy a marketing business that didn't allow you to market?

Hmmm...

Now if for some odd reason you're surgically attached at the hip to a company that won't let you advertise, there's still hope...

You see, I can market my opportunity if I want to. My company allows that.

But what might surprise you is that I don't.

My company name isn't mentioned on a single advertisement or capture page that I use anywhere.

Essentially, that means that I've voluntarily restricted myself to playing by the same rules as you.

Why?

Because it's a more effective strategy.

If you want people literally calling you, asking to join your downline on a daily basis...

If you want to build a 7-Figure empire that's completely immune to downline attrition and poor company decisions, then you need to forget about your company.

No one cares about it, least of all your prospects.

Success in MLM, network marketing, or direct sales where "recruiting" is involved, has nothing to do with your actual opportunity.

People don't join an opportunity, they join you.

Recruiting is all about the psychology that
surrounds the genetic triggers of attraction.

Learn how to flip the triggers, and you sponsor new reps effortlessly. This is what Magnetic Sponsoring teaches you how to do.

Learn how to express these triggers through marketing to thousands of people per week, or per day automatically online, and you can build an empire. This is what MLM Traffic Formula teaches you how to do. In fact, Traffic Formula is the actual blue-print of my entire business model.

In all cases, you come first. Your company comes second.

You advertise yourself first because it allows you to flip those secret attraction triggers and draw people to you.

You sell yourself first, because you are what your prospects will ultimately buy into and join and because it's a strategy that creates security in what can many times be an insecure industry.

Now there is an exception to this rule...

In fact, I use the exception in 2 out of the 3 personal lead generation capture pages I currently advertise for my opportunity.

One capture page advertises me... "Mike Dillard"

The other two pages are generic because they've been replicated for my team. If you're a leader you've faced this same problem as well.

So what do you do?

Simple.

You advertise a solution to your prospect's problem.

I promote solutions to problems. Not a company... A solution.

Think about that for a while.

Following this approach is not only more fun, more rewarding, less work, and more profitable than promoting your company directly, but it gets you around any pesky marketing policies that your company might stick you with, which is exactly why I follow it myself.

So to answer your question Kelly... Yes.

Not only can you benefit from the information in Traffic Formula, but the strategies contained within it are perfect for people like yourself who have decided to build a company that does not allow direct advertising.

Yes!

Mike -

I can finally understand and appreciate this way of advertising, marketing, and building a business.  I can see how companies can try to restrict your business growth...so thank you!

My answer to Kelly...

would have been to get out of the company.  Any company that doesn't let you advertise is not putting the associate's best interest in mind.  There are many other companies out there to choose from.  Don't stay tied to anything out of "loyalty".  Stick with it because it brings VALUE.

See?  You could have saved yourself 25 minutes.
