Where can I advertise my MLM opportunity?
People in MLM have many choices when considering to advertise their opportunity. There’s free and paid methods. Some paid methods to advertise an MLM opportunity are Pay-Per-Click,Ezine Solo Ads,and send-out-cards.All of these methods can be effective, but once you stop paying the advertising stops.
1)Pay-Per-Click- One of the most effective way to get targeted traffic, some people see results in hours and can build a big downline real fast. The downside it can be real costly if you don’t have the proper training.Google’s Adwords is the most recommended method when using a Pay-Per-Click campaign.
2)Ezine Solo Ads-Is a way to send out emails to someone’s list.In other words you pay for sending an email to someone else subscribers list. This can also be effective once you find someone who has a reasonable size list of subscribers and that the price to advertise to that list is within your budget.Research first before investing in Solo Ads.
3)Send out Cards-Another effective way to advertise. This has been overlooked by several people yet it is very viral and effective.Keeping in touch with people who had just asked for information on your product and opportunity, makes them feel important. “don’t pitch your opportunity” just give them a personal note about yourself or how your product or opportunity has changed your life.
Some free methods on advertising an MLM or any other home based business opportunity can be in different forms. While some people like writing other people love making videos. You must be careful when advertising your opportunity because people don’t like being pitch on a opportunity.I’ll give some examples on where to advertise your opportunity and where to advertise yourself and let the marketing system advertise the opportunity for you indirectly.
1)Classified Ads- works almost the same as Pay-Per-click, but the cost is free or close to free.Writing effective ads by grabbing your readers attention is something you must master. This form of advertising takes more time than Pay-Per-click, but the rewards are the same. You must have at least 15 Ads per day to dominate this niche and have the most exposure to your opportunity.
2)Video Marketing-A viral way to get your message out there to your target audience.Giving value first rather than pitching an opportunity will help you get better results.Split test your video marketing by promoting your MLM and Promoting Yourself, you’ll find out that promoting yourself and helping
others first is more effective when trying to build a downline for your MLM.
3)Articles/Press-Release/Blogs/social sites- are other ways to attract attention to yourself. These are for the most part free to advertise, but remember to give value first and help others. Articles,Press-Release,Blogs are ways to communicate with your targeted audience by providing rich content on “how to…….information”
Blogs: post blogs on targeted keywords and make sure to hyperlink the keyword you are targeting."click here" doesn't do you any good in Google Ranking. Post at least every 3 days. All your articles must be posted on your blog first and "pinged"meaning you are telling "Google ,hey I just posted a blog post come check it out." You can do this by going to www.pingomatic.com After you post an article on your blog then a few days later you want to post it on Article directories.
Press-Release: Make your press release news worthy. It must involved an event. Write it in a third person. Have your keyword on your title and body. don't over do it, have at least 4 times through out the press release, same goes for blogs and articles.
Articles: You must post "long tail keywords" within your niche. post at least 5 articles per week. If you don't have the time , then outsource this task to someone who is willing to do this at a fair price. Usually $10 per article. The key is to have a keyword rich article with the resource box pointing back to your blog or your biz opp.
These are just some examples on “where to advertise an MLM opportunity” with free and paid methods.I highly recommend when thinking about advertising in any web 2.0 sites, it’s better to brand yourself and not an opportunity.People don’t join opportunities, they join other people.

Thanks for the tip! The C-ville Weekly Online and Charlottesville craigslist.com offer free classifieds.
I did not know over 15 was the threshold. I will experiment and see what happens.
Thank you!
Cheers!

Press Releases?
Hi Carlos,
Thanks for this article.
I have only used press releases in conjunction with an event. For eg webinar, new book release etc. This way I do only one a week, but want to do at least 3 press releases a week. Do you have any examples other than an event?
Thank you.

I usually leverage the
I usually leverage the news.
A press release is just an announcement or explanation of a product or service. I would highly recommend you view a few press releases out there and see how much traffic they are generating.Once you see a pattern then make your own spin on it.
Back in February I wrote a poorly Press release, but I had leveraged the news and it has driven tons of traffic to my site.
