Where to Find Your Keywords for Your Websites and Articles
Keywords while not the only important thing for search engines to find your website or article, they are major components. Think of keywords or even key phrases as the words that people put in a search engine such as Google and Yahoo when they are trying to find information. The more frequently these words are used for searches, the more popular these words or phrases.
Well, how can I find the right keywords to use in my website or articles. Below are some major suggestions.
- Use a free software called Good Keywords (www.GoodKeywords.com). You supply the subject and it will supply the keywords or key phrases.
- Also, you can use the keyword tool on Google Adwords: http://adwords.google.com/select/Login. It's free.
- Another technique is to type some sample keywords or phrases in your major search engines such as Yahoo and Google and see how many sitess come up that have that word or phrase. If you type get more energy vs more energy, the one with the largest number of search results would get the top rating.

Keywords are King!
Good start.. Keywords are important to consider as you prepare you web content. here are a couple more thoughts....
You can access the google keyword tool without logging into your account by going here. Google Keyword Tool
When you are plunk in your keyword into the tool what you want to look for our keyword phrases that fit the scope of your topic but have less competition. Googles Free Keyword tool will give you this information.
ie. I wrote an article about Article Marketing a few days ago so I punched in Article Marketing into googles keyword tool. Of course the results came back with far too much competition for that keyword however I found a keyword phrase "Article Marketing Startegy" that had very low competition so this became the keyword for my article.
