Where You Should Spend Time to Maximize Production In Your Home Business

There's always a reason behind not having the kind of results that people are after in business.  I know personally because of struggling so long myself. 

Finally after all the frustration of wondering why my business wasn't growing like I wanted I realized my worst enemy was myself. 

Now don't get all bitter there is the cliche' saying if it's meant to be it's up to me.  So I sought great counsel that had the results I wanted and I was taught some great lessons from some multiple six and seven figure mentors I've been blessed to have in my life. 

Now to share:

1.  80% of your time that you work your business needs to be spent with what gets you the maximum results in your business and my friends and family that 80% is exposing new people to your product or service. 

Why? That 80% pays you the most money, production equals income in all our opportunities right?

What you do duplicates, if you do nothing then unless you are fortunate to get an ace out of a deck of cards, one that just goes to work regardless of what you do, then you will have no production from others following your do nothing lead. 

Don't look to others to make this happen for you take control of what you have ahold of in whatever business you're in, especially take advantage on personal time from the wealth of knowledge on this BetterNetworker website.

2.  19% of your time needs to be doing on the job training, what's this?  On the job training is doing what you do to make money and letting your people see or hear exactly what it is that you are doing.

If you do cold calls and you are successful at it do so on a conference bridge and let your people listen in while you work, if you do home parties or other type of meetings that are successful let your people go to them so they know exactly what to do.  At least plug your people into someone that can train your people, whatever it is make sure it is live training. 

The training I'm talking about is not personal growth time when you or they are plugging into a training on a website or reading a book, that is personal time and people should set aside for growing mentally.  Doing this is also a necessity if you want to be a professional.

3.  1% left and that spending your time problem solving 1% of the time.  Problem solving is a major waste of our time, because we want to be the answer or the go to person.  

This absolutely has led to major burnout of some incredible business builders in this industry. 
DO NOT BE ONE OF THEM

Example your new rep calls you up,

"I need help with where I set up direct deposit, I can't find something on my business site etc... So what most people do is "ok hold on let me go on the website, let me call the home office, let me let me let me help," when your actually doing both of you a disservice.  What you want to do is let people take ownership of there new success vehicle.  

Be polite and say

"you know what that's a great question do you have the number to the home office or the training website address?"  "Go ahead and give them a call or go there and that should be able to help you out, the reason I'm sending you there is so you can get answers to your questions when I'm not available and then you don't have to deal with frustration.  Same with your people not calling you later on as you're building a large organization." 

Your business should have a home office that can answer these questions for them.  They are our rep support team that we pay from our autoship. 

So outsource my friends because we are being taken away from what builds yours and their paychecks and that's spending 80% of the time prospecting which leads to production.
