Which Kind Of Internet Marketer Are You?
If I had a nickel for every new program and membership purchased by an Internet Marketer and never used …..
When it comes to Internet marketing, for some strange inextricable reason, people forget all the lessons they have learned about the principles of success.
We begin to learn these lessons at an early age, starting in kindergarten in fact, from the books our parents and teachers read to us, which in a very entertaining and simple way impart the wisdom of the ages.
I am reminded of one story in particular that is extremely applicable and describes the state of mind of the typical Internet marketer.
It is the story of The Three Little Pigs which I will retell here but adapt it to doing business on the Internet.
Once upon a time there were three little Internet marketers and the time came for them to leave home and seek their fortune’s. But before they left home, their mother told them “whatever you do, do it the best that you can, because that’s the way to get along in the Internet marketing world.”
The first little Internet marketer built his
Internet marketing business out of straw
because it was the easiest thing to do.
The second little Internet marketer built his
Internet marketing business out of sticks.
His business was a little bit stronger than the straw business.
And the third little Internet marketer built his
Internet marketing business out of bricks.
He had listened to the lessons taught by his mother.
One cold and dark night the big bad Google wolf, who would dearly love to eat fat little Internet marketers, came along and saw the first little Internet marketer with his Internet business built of straw.
The Google wolf said “let me in, let me in little Internet marketer or I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your Internet marketing business in.”
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin Chin Chin”, said the first little Internet marketer. But of course the wolf blew the Internet marketer’s business in and ate the first little Internet marketer. “Mmmm so good”, said the Google wolf.
The Google wolf then came to the house of sticks.
“Let me in ,let me in little marketer or I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house in”.
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin,“ said the little marketer. But the wolf blew that house in too, and ate the second little marketer.
The Google wolf then came to the house of bricks. ” Let me in , let me in” cried the wolf, “or I’ll huff and I’ll puff till I blow your house in.”
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin” said the third marketer.
Well, the wolf huffed and puffed but he could not blow down that brick house.
But the wolf was a sly old wolf and he climbed up on the roof to look for a way into the brick house.
The little marketer saw the wolf climb up on the roof and lit a roaring fire in the fireplace and placed on it a large kettle of water.
When the wolf finally found the hole in the chimney he crawled down and KERSPLASH right into that kettle of water and that was the end of his troubles with the big bad wolf.
The next day the little marketer invited his mother over. She said “You see it is just as I told you. The way to get along in the world is to do things as well as you can.”
Fortunately for that little marketer, learned that lesson. And he just lived happily ever after!
So, what kind of Internet Businessperson are you?

What sort of I/Marketer are you?
Bruce,
What a delightful adaptation...love the Google Wolf!
My classification of I/M's are a bit different ...
The Tourist, (stores it under the bed)
The user,(uses it for 2-3 weeks, then stores it under the bed!)...
The Trier, (Signs up 2-3, goes ok for a while, then stores it under the bed) then the
Goer...runs with it, regardless of it being perfect or ... & gets on with it.
Then in the Goer category, there are obvious levels again!
You define them!
