Why a Down Economy Could be your Ticket to Financial Freedom

I don't even watch the news anymore because of the negative coverage about the economy and all of the crazy stuff going on around the world today. What is the use in being bombarded with negativity when I have a future to focus on. I have come to realize in recent weeks and months that there is no economic situation that does not provide the opportunity for growth, but this is especially true when it comes to network marketing and a bad economy.

Network marketing is traditionally a business model where the average person usually doesn't see life changing success. It isn't because they cannot succeed, it is simply that they do not want to do what it takes to see success. The typical person will get into a network marketing opportunity, post a couple of classified ads on the Internet, talk to a couple of freinds, quit working the business and then just quit. This happens time and time again.

People have no trouble going to a traditional job, working hard for long hours, getting raises that are less than the rate of inflation and putting a little money into their 401 K. They are fine with working hard for a below average income, but when it comes to working hard for a couple of years at their network marketing business that can eventually provide them with freedom from their dead end job and the lifestyle that most would only dream of, they want no part of it.

It is beyond me why the average person has this sort of a world view, but when the economy is going good, this is exactly the way that it is.

On the flip side of this, how do people react when they are suddenly unsure of their financial future?

Everyone all of the sudden is looking for plan B and unlike when times are good, people are actually willing to work a network marketing business because they are afraid that they might not have any other option. Fear is a great motivator, even though it may not be the right motivator.

Those who position themselves in front of the masses looking for a plan B, stand to make more money than they would in a situation where people were not concerned with what may happen to their job tomorrow. The sad reality is that the fear people are experiencing is completely justified. Look at all of the businesses that have been around for years that are suddenly closing their doors forever. look at all of the downsizing that is going on. People have a right to be afraid. They would be foolish not to be. Fear in this situation is realistic and it may be necessary for survival.

Network marketing is something that anyone can do regardless of education or experience and there is no limit to the amount of money that average person can make in the right network marketing opportunity when they have the drive and determination to succeed. This is a great time for network marketers and it only stands to get better as the weeks and months go on.

Think about how many people can truly benefit fron network marketing and get on the band wagon before you get left in the dust.
