I have spent the last 2 months learning absolutely everything I can about the importance of blogging.  It is truly mind blowing how your marketing efforts can become so much more effective with the addition of this simple strategy.

There is a multitude of information available about how to make money with blogs yet I have discovered a common theme. All the experts agree on one thing - wordpress.org is the best way to go for Search Engine Optimization and unlimited plug in abilities.

Wordpress.org is for hosting your own blog.  While a lot of free blog sites eg. blogger, typepad, wordpress.com all offer very user friendly, quick and easy to set up weblogs, they simply do not have anywhere near the power of a hosted wordpress.org blog.

Learning how to use wordpress.org is not the easiest task around but there are plenty of professional bloggers out there who are willing to share their expertise for next to nothing.
