Why is Everything Fuzzy

One day this week I had to drive up to Marion IL to the VA Clinic there to get my yearly eye exam.  I knew the routine  which consisted of checking my prescription and then those drops in my eyes to dialate my pupils so they could examine my retinas for diabetic retinopathy.  In the past I always took my wife with me to drive back home.  This year she was unable to go so I went by myself.  I knew I would have to wait there for an hour or two before I could drive back because when your pupils are dialated you are unable to focus.  I was able to see but not good. It was all fuzzy and to bright for comfort. 

I maybe started home before I should have but I could see the big picture like cars and trucks and the side of the road alright but if I would have been on a new road that I hadn't traveled a lot before I would have been lost as a goose because I could not read road signs at all. 

It reminded me somewhat of days when I was trying to work affiliate programs to help get leads and extra money to support the opportunity I was suppose to be working.  Everything seemed fuzzy.  I couldn't get focused on one thing long enough to do it right and ended up doing nothing. I kept taking wrong turns because I couldn't read the signs that were right in front of me and I hadn't traveled this road before.  

Fuzzy is not fun.  I like clear precise direction and not generalities when I'm on a new road.  A shotgun is alright if you're hunting small game but for the big game you need to focus your energy.  I'm not looking for turkeys or squirrils but moose and elephants.  That takes focused energy.
