Well, What you need to get going is a reliable computer to start with. A Back up system and some basic computer skills at least. A sales, teaching or training background will help but its not necessary. You will also need a good broadband service and plenty of download capability on your P.C.

You then need to choose what you want to sell or promote and ask yourself is there a support system in place. Whoever you choose you want to have some key things in place to make it work.

First. The company needs to be legitimate. It needs to offer real products that have some sort of warranty, return policy or guarantee. It needs to have an office or somewhere where you can get back office support and a phone/fax number that you can contact.

There has to be a demand for the product that you are selling or promoting. Look at up and coming or big demand products. Things that people want or seek or will help them fill a need in their lives.

Most importantly for you as the operator you need to be trained and have ongoing training either on the internet or in person. Most internet marketing opportunities don't have training or a good support system.

And last, but not least it must not cost too much. If its free beware! Really who are you kidding, you must spend money to make money but keep your costs under $5000 that way if it doesn't work its not the end of the world.
