Why You Have To Chase Your Family And Friends To Get Customers And Reps

It seems like every chance we get in this
community and others we just get to blatant

selling and pitching people on our latest
or greatest deal.

I never new how bad it was and still is until
after I truly understood attraction marketing
principles.

Some of us are really slick... we disguise our
pitch as a general comment or question but
still seem to find a way to mention our "comp
plan [is great]" or "others are joining left and
right!"

The whole thing is comical at best but, I can
respect some of the motives.

We are all proud of our respective companies
and we think it's great and we want to share
and not be shy about it. However, unless
someone asks (or visits your "more info page")
we just sound like blatant self(ish) promoters.

We advertise our products and explain our comp
plans in our profiles without adding any value or
offering good reason for doing business with you
(like anyone really cares) and wonder why we don't
get any leads or we face rejection and objections
both online and off.

Sometimes I'm embarrassed and ashamed to be
in an industry that has to rely on that as our only
mean of marketing. We have to put up "do not
pitch" signs to help keep people in check like
little children. YUCK!

...Lets just review 4 basic principles to focus on:
    (as outlined in Magnetic Sponsoring)

1. Solving other people's problems (don't assume
you know them, ask and listen).

2. Your willingness to give without want
before you get.

3. Increasing your value to the world by acquiring
knowledge and skills that others want, but are
unwilling to acquire.

4. Reaching masses of people with these solutions,
skills, and abilities through marketing.

Some of us are already doing this like
Carl Coffin, Ferny Ceballos, Barbara
and others I salute you, keep up the great
work!

When you are shopping for a new sponsor, who
would you choose?

Someone who only *promises* you another
great business or someone who has already
over delivered and proven they know what
it takes to help you succeed?

If it was just about the company, you could just
pick any random person but it's more than that!

If this sounds like a rant, it is and if it applies to
you then take heed. if you disagree or feel the
same reply (or not) freely.

If you come to my page and pitch me I will not
respond how ever if you'd be willing to ask me
what kinds of ops I'm interested in I'd gladly
and honestly reply.

Respectly yours,

Malika Duke
