Will your Dream into Reality??? What is that supposed to mean?

Ok, so I was reading a lot over the Christmas and New Year’s holiday and I came up with a thought I figure I’d share. I’m sure most people have already figured it out by now. But most of my beginning works I am focusing on the “NEWBIE” the Guy.. (or Gal) just starting out.

Maybe you’ve been doing this for a bit, maybe you just started yesterday, either way is cool. But see there was this problem I had with a saying that abundance or success minded people had. That saying came in many different forms or phrased lots of different ways:

"Manifest your dreams"
"Think positively and you will get what you envision"
"Will your dream into existence"

Among many others, The Problem I had when I first got into this whole internet marketing and network marketing business thing. Is that I was born a pessimist; I have had a negative attitude the majority of my life.

So the question to be asked is: how do you explain that whole, will your dream into reality thing by thinking positively to a pessimist?

So let me lay down the lingo for a negative minded person seeking to think positively. Now my hope is that I can at least course correct you’re thinking just a hair. Enough So that you get how thinking positively can help you will your dream into a reality by comparing the two thought processes

I recently read a study about “lucky” people. The study wanted to find out if certain people really were lucky or if there was something that all lucky people had in common or something that they all did that made them lucky. The study went thru and did all kinds of tests and at the end of the study the people who were generally found to be lucky had one trait in common. They were more observant and aware of their surroundings then people who were unlucky.

One test in particular they had people look at a page of a news paper they had especially printed for their tests. And they told people you have 15 seconds to look at the paper and then they needed to tell them how many pictures were on the page.

The catch was that they put a small add in the middle of the page that said mention this ad to your tester and well give you 50 dollars. The people who were considered lucky and that they found were more observant saw the ad and the people who were considered unlucky and were found to be less observant didn’t.

So the result of the study showed that people who were considered lucky weren’t actually luckier they were just more in tune with their surroundings enough so that they spotted things that less observant people a.k.a. unlucky people didn’t.

How does that tie into a pessimist vs. Optimist view on business and the saying will your dreams into reality? To hit that point lets talk about the glass half empty vs. the glass half full. I never got that analogy either until I learned to think positively.

See a pessimist sees the same glass but instead of seeing it half full he sees it half empty.
Half empty, meaning that’s it; there is no more when the water is gone its gone. Because it’s half empty there isn’t room to fill it up anymore. It’s just almost gone. That’s it. Empty implies a shrinking or becoming less or almost over. If it was a story that would mean that there is only a little bit left to be told and then that’s it. Everybody goes home there is no more to tell.

Now an optimist sees the glass as half full Instead of half empty. Half full as in meaning that the glass still has the potential to be filled with more water. More as in you have the ability to gain more than you had before. The potential to push what you get beyond what you have. Same thing as before if it was a story because the story was only half told there was still potential to add lots more to it. More possibilities more opportunities to add lots more to expand the story to new heights and to greater lengths to add what you think still could be in it. Basically there was infinite opportunity to do anything you wanted with it.

Now the same thing applies to willing your dream into reality.
A pessimist goes into the situation and states to himself this isn’t going to work and no matter what, I know I’m right and so ill just wait and see why it isn’t going to work, so I can go home. The only thing you had going into it was this strong desire for it to be over. And once you see a small reason that you’re right, its done that’s it, no more, game over, now we all go home wondering why we wasted our time doing that. Its why the saying “what you seek you shall find” exists, because when you went into the situation that’s the only thing you were looking for. And thus because “you wanted” (AKA you willed it) your eyes to be blind to everything else that’s what you found. A dead end.

You see you wanted that reality of it not to work so bad that you willed that reality into existence. With nothing more than your ironclad will and the thoughts of your mind.
See what a pessimist fails to see is that no matter what, everybody wills their dreams into reality. The difference is a pessimist isn’t aware of it, and that uncontrolled over bearing power of his will and his mind start working against him. If he isn’t in control of that strong wind it turns into a storm.

On the other hand an optimist consciously is aware of the power of his will and mind and has taken the time and effort to bend that power to his own ends.  He knows that if he thinks about something long enough his mind will help him find away to do it. A.k.a. when an optimist gets into this line of work he is looking for reasons and ways for it to work. And because he wasn’t looking for a reason for this line of work to fail the only thing left to see is why it Will work and all the ways for him to get it to work.  Instead of his strong winds turning into a storm he has taken the time and effort to build up a wind mill and turned that strong wind into a power generating tool, Instead of a deadly storm. A.K.A he wills his reality into existence.

Because he thought it, it became real.

A.K.A.

"He willed his dream into reality"

It took me a long time to figure that out. And start seeing the difference between the two ways of thinking. the last 2 years have been a crazy and wild ride, But from a former pessimist to anybody else who is just starting out and is wondering about the answer to that question I hope this article has (or more positively speaking “will” be) useful

Now like I said before this is a really basic lesson. But this isn’t for the experienced people out there. It’s for the newbie, for the guy just starting out.
And especially for somebody with a negative attitude like I had when I first started out.
Everybody deserves a chance. Even if you are a little bit blind when you first start out…

So take those blinders off and welcome to the world of abundance and opportunity
and for crying out loud lets get networking!! lol
thnks
