One of the Life Changing Concepts my MBA course work taught me was the 9 Step process to problem solving. Everthing in life is problem solving. Even if it's a decision to drink water when you are thirsty. Think about it: Where are the glasses to use, cubed ice or crushed ice or no ice? Do I get it or let someone else get it so I can continue to do what I am currently doing. I used this very process to see how me (a physician) already with a six figure income could work smarter but not harder. A significant number of doctors who want to make more money simply just see more and more patients and spend more and more time in the office and hospital and less and less time at home. Before they know it, their kids are teenagers and don't really know them.

Working Hard vs Leverage 

While nothing is wrong with loving what you do and working hard: The smarter and more efficient among us will find ways to leverage other people's time and resources, including money. Isn't that what we are doing at magnetic sponsoring. We would be much less efficcient without this site and this site would not work without people either. Websites such as ezine sites, forums, and other networking communities spend thousands of dollars on software and servers but we benefit in a symbiotic way. We leverage the time and resources of each other.

Network Marking or MLM or Direct Sales are Not Dirty Words 

Network Marketing does this. MLM or Network Marketing shouldn't be dirty words but powerful lyrics to our ears. These are means of leveraging the time and resources of each other. This is why you need a pipeline of leaders who are efficient at leveraging. Don't sponsor or recruit just for the sake of recruiting. When you go to the doctor or a restaurant, you want they the best don't you. Then why would you want to work with a pipeline of mediocre team members who will wast your time?

Learn to Attract and Not to Chase 

If you are new to Direct Sales, MLM or Network Marketing (whatever the acronym), you need to learn the concept of leveraging and attracting leaders to your organization. Buy the course book Magnetic Sponsoring and it will change your thinking forever. Learn to attract people rather than chasing them. Do you feel Warren Buffet has to chase people for business opportunities? I don't think so. He probably has to run from the scores of people wanting an opportunity to work with him or even speak with him for one or two minutes.

Working Efficiently or Leveraging

The quickest way to grow a business is to develop a pipeline or network.  This pipeline or network should consist of leaders (usually referred to as a downline). Become a Strong Leader! 

What is a leader? Or should I ask, what is a strong or good leader? A strong or good leader is a vibrant person who is a people magnet. In other words, people are drawn to individuals who have the personal package of confidence; love for people; desire to help people; knowledgeable; problem-solver; being an intelligent risk taker; creative/out of the box thinker; self-motivator; and integrity.

Becoming a good leader requires one to drain him or her of selfishness and jealousy. A leader likes to see others achieve and gives them positive reinforcement. A leader is quick to allocate praise to others.  Empower people! A selfish and jealous leader destroys his or her leadership and breeds discontent among team members.

The real high for the true leader is not recognition but watching the success unfold for those who he or she has mentored and taught. The strong leader is almost obsessed with mentoring, teaching, and serving others. Recognition will seek and find a good leader just as sure as the sun rises every morning.

A truly strong leader is one who is knowledgeable. However, you can only become knowledgeable if you prepare. You should possess and continually update a reading list. Books (including audio) and magazines should constantly be at your disposal. Never travel without reading or audio materials. Are you in your car a lot? Use your CD player for educational purposes (Auto College). Never cease to take courses to gain new knowledge or to refresh you. Constantly sharpen your skills and feed your mind with relevant knowledge. Personal growth never ceases. 

A true leader is a person of integrity. Always do the right thing and the rest will take care of itself. Yes, good guys do win. It is not what is popular or politically correct that matters, it is what is right! Do what is right and lead by example not by what you say. Practice what you preach. Walk the Walk! Stand up for what is right or for others who can't stand up for themselves even if it means a confrontation.

A good leader is a person who is confident in his or her leadership and is decisive. There is not continual second guessing. Because of this confidence, a true leader uses creativity and is an "out of the box" thinker. Do your research and be decisive based on your data. Never shoot from the hip.

A strong leader rids him or her of negative influences such as negative persons. Negative people will rob you of your dreams and energy and weigh you down like trying to swim with your legs in hardened concrete. They are a cancer on our team or in your personal life. Cut them Out! Furthermore, a true leader must keep his mind and abilities sharp; so, there is no room for drug, alcohol, or any other substance abuse.

A truly powerful leader is one who is a problem-solver. This kind of leader is not a whiner or someone who looks at the pile of problems and winces. Research the problem, plan, sharpen your abilities, set clear objectives and goals, and plot a clear and unwavering course for your team. Then, LEAD!

A strong leader must use time wisely. Don't waste your time or let undisciplined people waste your time. If an appointment or meeting is 9:00 AM, so it is. Then, 9:02 AM is unacceptable. Plan your time wisely and stick to your guns.

A true leader loves people and has a deep-seated desire to help people succeed. If a leader does not have this love for people and desire to help them, it is difficult to truly lead and he or she is probably leading for selfish reasons. Is that person leading for power, recognition or to be on the "A" list? It has been said that if you help others get what they want then you will eventually get what you want. 

A strong leader is a dreamer. However, the strong leader doesn't stop at dreaming. He or she will take stock of his resources, plan, sharpen his abilities, plot a course, and ACT!

FOUR STEPS TO WEALTH

There are four steps you should take if you want to achieve wealth. These steps revolve around debt, investing and residual income. Residual income is probably the most overlooked.

 Step #1
Get out of Debt is the first step. Trying to become wealthy while sinking in debt is like trying to run a race with concrete blocks around your ankles. Get rid of the credit cards and use a debit card for your transactions. Get rid of the car payment. Only drive a car for which you can pay cash. Upgrade in car as you accumulate wealth. Rent until you can pay down 20 percent down payment on a house. This large down payment will get rid of the private mortgage insurance (PMI). Save and pay cash for wants and needs.

Step #2
Start Investing Today is number 2. Get an astute and open-minded financial advisor and start investing today. Never invest in anything you don't understand or can't explain. A quality financial advisor should help to invest in a diversified manner but in keeping with your tolerance for risk. Remember you are in charge, not the financial planner. That person is there in an advisory role. A good investment port folio should include mutual funds and real estate. Never use a money market account for investment purposes. Use it to park cash that you will need immediately or in a few months. An emergency fund of 3 to 6 months of your living expenses can be parked in such an account.

Step#3
Get out of the employee mentality is step 3. If you want to become wealthy, stop trying to land the perfect job. Most people who are very wealthy started their own business. Employees have to work more and more hours to make more money. However, the more they work the more they have to pay in taxes. The tax man stands at door to collect more and more taxes before that money can come home with you. You need to create a business. That business you create should be in an area for which you have an aptitude and passion. Pick an area of business for which there is a need and again for which you have an aptitude and passion. You must then prepare by reading and taking courses to prepare you for the rigors that lie ahead in owning your own business. Employee mentality causes people to wait for others and government to do for them instead of making things happens for themselves.

Step #4
Create Residual (Passive) income is step number 4. Think of residual income as money coming in to you whether you are working, sleeping or on vacation. In other words, rather than trading time for income continually, you expend effort, quit and the income continues to come. This type of income is also called passive income. One vehicle or opportunity that offers such a possibility is network marketing or multi-level marketing. Build your network and leverage the efforts of others. Then, reap the benefits after you expend the initial energy to build your network. Think of it in another way. Suppose you need 300 hours of work to be done. You can either work all 300 hours to get the work done or you can build a network of 300 persons. Each person can then work one hour and you zero hours to accomplish the 300 hours of work. This is what network marketing offers. Network marketing companies provide a low cost and easy access means of getting a legitimate home based business started. A marketing system, software, website, and quality products or services are at your immediate disposal (That is assuming you choose a reputable company with a good track record with a quality and diverse product line). There are multiple quality mlm companies with quality and diverse health and wellness products.
