I completely agree with you.
Your upline is your best asset in a MLM. Trying to go around that person or any other upline that is willing to help you is like shooting yourself in the foot. Unless you figure it out, that you need your upline, it will eventually (likely sooner rather than later) kill your business growth.
People duplicate what you do. That means your downline will do nothing or go around you too when they see descrepency in the upline.As everyone who is successful in business knows, you can't do it alone. It takes the team's support and training, as well as their credibility that you don't have yet, to get the attention of your prospect.
If your upline is not building their business the way you want, that's fine. Just remember to NEVER embarass your upline, NEVER talk about problems in your business with downline (negatives and problems always go upline...and not to a sideline either). If you have a problem you cannot work out with your upline then try to plug into an upline above that person. Just make sure you are requesting to go around your sponsor for the right reason.
I'm sorry Juanita. I just realized that I am actually writing a posting on this comment. I didn't mean to do that. I wanted to say I agree with you and didn't mean to steal the show. I hate it when people do that, I am so sorry. I guess you hit the button that got the juices in my veins flowing on this subject.

It's been a while since I been on this website. I'm back and I'm in full effect. You are so right. People definitely need to stay plugged in. Honestly, that's why I haven't had very much success! I'm hoping to change all that and have a great year despite some of the things that has happened to me! Thanks for a great article that's short and to the point!
