Your WHY Is Big, But How About Your DO?
We know your WHY is big...but your not experiencing success in your business. Are you READY to be honest and answer the question whether or not your DO is big enough?
We've all been there on the other end of the phone or the recipient of an email from someone who can't seem to figure out why they can't get it done...why they aren't seeing results.
Hopefully you do get these phone calls and emails because that means you are a leader...and not the type of networker that is sending them out.
Time and time again I hear from people that "say" they've tried everything and done everything but they haven't been able to reach the level of success they have wanted to live the LIFESTYLE they want.
I often respond to these folks by saying, "Really? Can you tell me right now 5 things that you've done and have ongoing to help you grow your business?"
Usually they have to think about it...and then they give answers like "I've written about 3-articles in the last month but I wasn't getting any leads so I stopped."
Or, "I got a guide to doing Adwords but I started a few campaigns that started costing me a lot of money so I stopped and I thought there was no way to improve and actually learn this stuff."
"I was networking with people on MySpace/Facebook but after about 100 friends I got bored of it."
"I did a couple videos on YouTube but after 5 videos but I felt like it wasn't working so I stopped."
Name the marketing vehicle...and people simply don't pile enough DO to solve their WHY.
I'm not going to drag on with this but to simply say to everyone to CHECK YOURSELF.
(my self included!)
As a leader I need to check myself to make sure that I'm DOING what I need to do to get the results that I want...as a leader, I encourage you to do the same.
For any networker or business opportunity seeker out there...I have one question that you need to ask yourself every day...was my DO large enough today to help solve my big WHY?
Are you immersing yourself in your industry learning and increasing your knowledge? For me, this should be a SMALL percentage of your game otherwise you never get going.
You MUST implement!
A "fool" is someone who is given and reads the roadmap to success...but never implements what they learn.
So is your DO big enough? Only you know the answer on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
Are you increasing your DO each day with a little action each day to the point you have your game going on with a full-time effort because you could leave your JOB? Then leveraging your time via outsourcing, leveraging your time so your team can DUPLICATE over and over so your DO is so big you don't know how it became the MASS that it is?
Maybe you can only put a part-time effort right now...that's OK...take little DO action each day and in 3-6 months you will have a DO big enough to get you results.
Keep on keepin' on...enough about your WHY...and start getting a bigger DO!

This Is An Awesome Article
This is great and I can tell your speaking from the heart.
Exellent
Good point. I tottally agree with you John.
Thanks, John
Great article John, sometimes it takes someone to cut through the excuses and push us in front of the mirror so we can really see where we stand.
Great Article!
So many people in network marketing don't make it and you hit it right on - if they're not doing, their business isn't going anyplace. And the place for them to begin is to really see they aren't doing what is necessary for them to succeed. Those that see this lack of doing in themselves are the ones who will be able to discover within themselves why they're not doing and take steps to overcome the not doing. Change begins with awareness and this article helps people to get it that their not doing is leading to their lack of success.
That's Right Teacher
Action does speak louder than words.
Great!
Thoughtful article. Somethings the doing is harder than the why. Especially with the 'naysayers' in one's life. Action speaks louder than words...
Thanks For Sharing John!
I appreciate your honesty and straightforwardness in the article that you wrote. Being a "doer" and not just a "thinker" is exactly what makes the difference between some people moving on and achieving success, while others are left behind. Great ideas alone, without direct implementation, are never enough...are they?
Thanks for sharing your great thoughts and for the gentle reminder that we all need to remain diligent in setting our works into action.
JUST DO IT!
Thank you for honestly portraying what it really takes to do it and do it and keep on doing it to have a "real business" online.
Great Article
Hi John,
Great advice and information as was the case with the YBS Formula.
