The Power of One
I found a wonderful You Tube vid recently while I was spending a couple of minutes browsing with a coffee before starting work.

The video carries a powerful message showing how we are at one with nature and reminding us of what we have to offer as humans. It’s full of striking images yet the overall impression is of tranquillity and calm confidence in ourselves and what we can bring to the lives of others..
It’s a prime example of viral marketing because ever since I found it, I have been sharing it with my friends and in general on the social networks that I use ever since. It’s exactly the kind of thing that we need to tap into whenever we create an advert or a communication of any kind in relation to our business. The most virally shared videos and emails are those that make us feel good, so it seems pretty straightforward that if we can inject some humour or an uplifting message into our marketing then it is more likely to be shared virally.
That’s easier said than done but if you choose to relate your advertising to real life and tell a story about how your product or service can meet the needs of your target audience, and communicate that story in such a way that it makes the reader or listener feel good, there is a higher chance that it will be favourited and shared.
The power of one, becomes the power of many through sharing.
