Man's Greatest Needs

It has often been mentioned that when I pose the question "What are the 2 greatest needs a person has?" I always receive the the same reply almost all the time. Some people answer differently thinking I'm trying to ask a trick question. But when I clarify myself, then the correct answer comes to mind. It is (1) health and (2) finances. To live a quality balanced life today, both attributes are a necessity.

Let's look at each attribute separately. To be healthy today, free of disease, medication-free, being in good physical shape offers little benefit if you are very poor. Unable to afford even the basic amenities or have the ability to pay for simple needs is painful.

Also, a wealthy person with lots of money who is constantly sick doesn't have a quality lifestyle either. It can be argued that a wealthy man can afford to pay to get himself better. On the other hand, a healthy person can work hard and build his financial empire.

Having the "balance" of both attributes is what most people strive for. Health + no money = poor lifestyle. Money + poor health = poor lifestyle.
