Ever Hear of The "Devil's Tongue" Plant??

A more pleasant and more difficult name for this plant is the Konnyaku or Konjac root that's grown primarily in Southeast Asia and China.  Konnyaku has been used for centuries as a food item and is well known in Japan.  Besides being rich in dietary fiber(Glucomannan) and minerals, it is low in calories.  Here in the U.S, Konjac root is the primary ingredient for a low carb noodle called Shirataki.  

Konnyaku is 97% water, 3 % Glucomannan and it’s 100% natural.
