Article and Press Release Writing for Builders and Realtor’s
Please read this through completely as it has very important and proven results that can get your information (business) in front of prospective home buyers.
Let me begin by telling you that tens of thousands of people are still looking to get into a home, and in this example, condominiums.
I always thought that articles and press releases were written by people working at corporations and newspaper company’s. Some of you have had write-ups about your company.
The truth is that you and I can write articles and press releases, and I have been testing now for a little more than a month and getting great results. I should refine what I am saying… I am getting my articles and press releases on the first page of google using targeted keyword phrases.
My results at this time is that these articles and press releases are sending more people to my website, specific business or product that may never find it.
I have written content on a number of different industries and almost every case, my articles and press releases are showing up on the first page and most of the time at the top of google. That is powerful!
My last test just before writing this newsletter was about one of our builder clients in Wisconsin; Craftsman Construction. Hi Dan! This one is on me.
Example Test
Here is what I did after researching for the keywords I wanted to target…
I am going to pick on Dan a little here, but he is actually doing more to promote his listings than most builders do. This is one of Dan’s listing descriptions…
“Luxurious living and prime location make this new construction condo on the Baraboo golf course the perfect place to call home now. Open kitchen w/ granite counters; gas stove; cherry cabinets; 3-sided fireplace and fantastic views. Master BA w/ jetted tub; tile shower; & walk-in closet connected to laundry rm. You’ll love entertaining in your walk-out LL featuring LR with fireplace, custom bar, 3rd BR & full BA. Drive right onto the course from the attached lower level 8′x16′ golf cart garage.”
I started writing an article at 6:45 pm on Monday. At about 8:45 I submitted the article. At 10:30 I checked and the article was on google (not only on the first page, but most of the time at the top) using very common keyword phrases:
- condo for sale baraboo wi golf course
- baraboo golf course condo
- condo baraboo wi golf course
- baraboo golf course condo for sale
- baraboo wisconsin condo golf course
- baraboo wi golf course home for sale
You can test these yourself in google.
Because homes and condos are local products, people will need to enter the city and state they are looking in – Baraboo Wisconsin. Then I further fine turned the article by adding on the Baraboo Golf Course, the location of the condo.
- The article is made up of what someone wants – a new home or condo that is for sale
- The article is made up of where someone wants to live – Baraboo Wisconsin
- The article is made up more specifically with the location in the city – Baraboo Golf Course

Please take note on how I worded the article to include some emotion. The content is worded very carefully to include the keyword phrases 3 – 5 times.
