Little Girl Behind the Lemonade Stand Doesn't Sell Rotten Lemons to Innocent People


Looking back on my childhood, I can remember being the kid

who always had some creative way of making extra cash.

It was fun to set up a lemonade stand on a hot summer day,

or have a garage sale and sell all my little things I no longer wanted.

I also went around to all my neighbors, wagon in tow,

and collected their newspapers and pop cans.

Back then we could earn some pretty good cash for recycling.

As I moved on, got married and started a family,

I was still exercising that entrepreneurial spirit inside

that told me I needed to do something for myself

and not rely on a 9-5 J.O.B.

I was always thinking of different things I could do

that would keep me AT home so I could be with my kids.

That was really important to me.

It wasn't so much the cash flow as it was the fact that

my mom was able to stay home with us and

I wanted to stay home with my kids as well.

Well, it wasn't until years down the road

that I discovered the power of residual income.

I bought the most expensive pack,

loaded up with inventory

and hit the pavement running.

Being coachable, I listened to my mentors

and made a list of over 100 people in my warm market,

set up the parties, bought the leads,

spent hours upon hours on the phone and online and......

like most people, didn't see a lot of fruit for my efforts.

My upline told me I needed to work harder.

My upline told me I needed to buy more inventory

because people will buy more if they don't have to order it.

My upline told me I needed to buy more leads

and spend more time calling them.

Oh, and my 'why' wasn't big enough

and I wasn't a leader.

Hello???

I was BORN to be a leader and

my WHY is SO big, that's the reason WHY

I've continued in this industry.

The leads were GARBAGE and most of them

didn't know why I was even calling them! lol

If I bought any more product,

my husband was going to have a heart attack!

Plus, I found myself running all over town

working my 'AT home business' and I was

spending LESS time with my family. 

<big>Boy, I sure did learn some valuable lessons!</big>

It wasn't my fault,

and it isn't YOUR fault, either!
