Killing your new sign up.

I had the opportunity to go to Calgary last weekend where 3 top leaders in the Youth Juice business hosted a 6 hour boot camp. My first thought before entering the boot camp was what in the world are they going to talk about for 6 hours. Well the 6 hours sure felt like maybe 2 hours. There was so much amazing, insightful knowledge that was basically about life in general, how to take control of your life and live it to the fullest by building a better business. One question was asked that I really liked and have been thinking about since. "Are you killing your new sign up the same day?". Over the last few months I've seen lot's of posts and ads on how people are signing up ten's, hundred's and even thousands of people in a short period of time using some form of lead capture system. Is this a good thing? maybe short term but in the long run have you just signed up a new ambitious potential leader only to be left in the dark and destined to fizzle out and dropping the business. Did your leader just get you all pumped up and ready to go only to disappear and not be heard from again as they are more focused on signing up others?

The power of duplication exists when you work for your team. I almost feel like the people below you are your boss in the sense that you do a lot of work for them to help them become successful. If you focus a good portion of your time and energy helping your down line then they will have success in building their teams which results in a more prolonged successful business for you. When you educate your downline to utilize your upline to help build your business it almost comes natural to start coming out of your comfort zone. As Mackenzie (my beautiful wife) and I had our National Marketing Director come down from Calgary to Lethbridge almost weekly we learned new ideas, concepts and starting feeling more comfortable talking and sharing a product that we know to be amazing. As we utilized our upline for help and education we are now in the position to help and train our downline to do the same thing in order to build a strong successful team. Mackenzie just said to me today, which is what inspired me to write this. "Instead of focusing on signing up x number of people I'm going to sign up 1 person and focus on helping 3-5 people in our down line to sign up others". With this strategy I believe that we will build a more solid foundation and harness the power of duplication.

We have an amazing team and we've developed a lot of great friendships and I'm excited to keep sharing the YJ Revolution.

Btw, Mackenzie is on the 4th video of YJ's new (still in prelaunch) video training library. Click Here
