Build Massive Long Term Quality Traffic For Free, Organically


Any successful online business must have the right components to generate quality traffic to the web pages or blog and attract quality customers or clients. There are many strategies out there that claim to be the best way to make any online business a success. Whatever method you chose to use to build your business there are two key elements you should consider when building and running an online business and those are content and traffic.
 
Let’s start with content. When writing content for your web page or blog, putting your target audience first is most important. By that I mean, write content that your target audience will consider useful and bring value to them. This will prompt your audience to do three things among others:
 

  • Stay on you web page longer than the next guy
  • Back link your website to theirs and increase credibility
  • Buy your products or sign up for your newsletter or list

 
By writing quality content consistently, your potential customers, clients or down line will start to seek you out for information. This will establish you as an expert in your area of expertise and people will be more willing to act on your call to action over and over again.
 
The key other element to building a successful online business is getting sufficient traffic. If there is no traffic coming to your site, nobody will know your business even exists. Most Internet marketers will use inorganic methods to build traffic to their web sites. These methods typically involve advertising a web site via traffic exchanges, text ads, pay per click campaigns and safe lists to name a few. While they are have shown to be effective is getting sales or newsletter sign ups especially for a branded company, they do not engage the target audience so no relationship is ever established. The newer Internet businesses may find is difficult to get any customers to buy from them because of this.
 
Today’s Web 2.0 practices require that companies engage their target audiences more. Placing ads to tell or rather sell your audience about a great product you have will not work like it used to. Gone are the days of solely placing ads to get people to buy a product or service. Companies, especially newer companies must over deliver relevant content and information in order to build trust to get a customer or client act on your call to action. That said, in order to sustain solid traffic to your web site you must build traffic organically. Some common examples of organic traffic are referrals from a recently published articles or blog posts. Other organic means to build traffic to a web site include joining social networks and forum as well as book marking your site.
 
 If the content was written well enough, people will again seek you out for information, and tell their friends or go viral.  The trust factor well will grow over time and this will sustain and maintain traffic much more efficiently than any ads or traffic exchanges at a faction of the cost to advertise.
