Step 2 of the HomeBased Network Marketing Business Plan

If you read  Step 1 you will know that I recommend finding a quality network marketing company to work as your primary business.

As I’ve observed the internet marketing world over the past few years, I’ve noticed that even the affiliate marketing and product launch gurus are all trying to get you to sign up for monthly membership sites or monthly training publications. They are beginning to realize that true residual income comes from recurring monthly commissions, not from a one time launch.

The next few steps have common elements and overlap each other.

Education is the foundation of Step 2 and learning about funded proposals is the main task. Your funded proposal should also function as a lead capture, lead generation platform and if you select a good one it may also function as your “System” and injection point for all your traffic.

When I began my educational journey I came across Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring course through a series of 7 free videos.

This really is the perfect place to start, as he explains the concept of the funded proposal and how important it is, to help you build your primary business, while also having the ability to work with people in other companies, without contributing to the cross recruiting frenzy that really damages the industry as a whole. A good funded proposal will also generate another income stream which will assist in paying for your growing business and your marketing expenses. And did I mention that the video bootcamp is free?

If you’re not familiar with Mike, he really was the guy that started the whole attraction marketing, funded proposal mindset, that has taken over as the most effective online strategy, for building your network marketing business.

A number of his students have created their own systems now, but I feel that he remains the leader with constant upgrades to the look and feel of his promotional material and the ongoing followup autoresponder series which kicks in for your prospects.
