This Is the Time to Sow, and Not to Slumber
Successful entrepreneurs are working diligently through these first
few weeks of December to lay the ground work for the new year.
We are sowing seeds, knowing full well that they will bear fruit in
January.
People who aren't really serious about their business? Not so much.
They have already decided that they will 'start working after the
New Year'. You'll hear these same people say that 'no one buys this
time of year'.
So who is right?
I think the words 'successful entrepreneurs' tells the whole story.
You need to sow now, to reap the harvest in January.
This is not the time to slumber!
The late, great, Jim Rohn has some very timely advice for you:
I do hope that you will choose to join the ranks of the successful,
so you can see a nice return in 2010.
Wishing you life's best,
Melanie Milletics

Right on, Mel!
Thanks for posting this. Dec. has consistently been my best performing (or 2nd best) month every year...!
Well put Melanie, this time
Well put Melanie, this time of year has traditionally been a time to slow down and quote un quote get ready for next year. I never really understood this concept, a good entrepreneur takes advantage of all situations and this time of year has always been a good time for me.
RE: This Is the Time to Sow, and Not to Slumber
I would like to say that there is a time to sow and there is a time to reap. However, sowing and reaping are never done in the same season. Entrepreneurs, as you said, are working diligently now, as they do all year around. They never stop developing their business, so they never make excuses.
Keep sowing those seeds, so you can continually reap the harvest throughout the year.
Sow, sow, sow
Thanks for this link to the wonderful blog post from Jim Rohn!
I love it.
