Lane, "We, Inc" is an ingenious (simple, and acutely accurate) way to describe Coaching Cognition. I immediately went to godaddy to purchase the domain (of course, I would have given it to you, if you had use for it)--but it was already taken by someone in Taiwan--likely with a completely different meaning?

The bottom line:

Collaborative efforts are the key to modeling long-term success both off and online. The wild west (where a few won big and most lost out) is over. Now (in the last 24 months or so), by working with people who share values and a vision, success is FAR more accessible by everyone.

But it's getting more and more tough for those who try to continue to go it alone.

Barbara's Coaching Cognition is one sure-fantastic way to leverage the "We, Inc." Collaboration model you referred to).

Being Part of a Team

I think the thing that so impresses me about the Coaching Cognition program is the collaboraton of people all coming together under the training of Barbara Silva all for the same cause, to help others. I am in a place of needing coaching and have decided to reach out to one of the coaches for help. While I'm not in a place to become a coach right now, I fully intend to take advantage of the coaching I'm going to receive, for 2 reasons.

1. I just plain need the help. I'm stuck.

2. I will know what a coach does, by paying attention to my coach and learning how and what she does, so when the time comes, I can have a great example to follow. (hope you don't mind, Shelly) :-)

By listening to these two trainings, (they're free, how cool is that?) you will know if you want to be a coach, you need a coach, or both as is my situation. Right now I need one. Later, I hope to be one.

There's nothing more satisfying in life than to help someone else. With coaching cognition, now we can get paid to do just that. Not that any of us mind helping out for free. Many of us have done that and continue helping people because we love it.

Anyway, my point. :-)

Lane, I do love your concepts of "We Inc" and "Group Guru" -- and that is, indeed, the idea behind Coaching Cognition.

The client gets the best of everything.

I'm excited about all the folks who have written in saying they saw the answer to combining what they really loved with their business or how good the very idea of coaching others made them feel.

Lots of people refer to themselves as coaches - but to really develop out these skills of communication, listening, connecting with the client, asking powerful questions, etc. takes training and practice.

Yet those skills can help you in fantastic ways even if you have no intention of becoming a coach. After just the first webinar which went over some listening skills techniques, folks were moved to sit with their spouses and children and give the gift of active, deep listening.

Yes this will help in dealing with customers, too, but the stories I am getting back initially are about how it impacted the family.

For people to be applying that one skill in such a way is enough to make me a very happy coach!

I had delved into coaching before but not having the coaching tools one needs to be an effective coach, I may not have been quite as perceptive of the person's needs as I should have been.

And coaching does take skill but it is a skill that can be learned. That's why I am on Barbara Silva's coaching webinars.

I am also learning that I need to be coached too. Someone on the outside just might have a better perspective on my issues since there is no personal involvement or emotional attachment to the outcome.

I have always had the motto, if someone else can do, so can I.

I love the whole Renegade platform and have learned so much from it. In particular I learned from Mike Klingler that as network marketers we often coach people and give a lot of our time but don't get paid for it!
