5 Tips to Using Facebook to Find Leads/Friends

Hello!
So... the big question? How do you use facebook to find leads??? First off remember this...

FACEBOOK is a SOCIAL site! Read that phrase again and again please. :)

So don't go on facebook and start leaving things like... call this number to hear a great live call..
or we have the greatest nutrition in the world... Or anything crazy like that...

By the way I was guilty for doing this myself... It just gave people a reason to take me off their feed list. Oops! so much for connecting with friends! I thought the point of being on facebook was to connect with friends... hmmmmm

So what are the 5 Tips for Using Facebook to Find Leads?

1. Make sure your profile is filled out. No one is going to follow or believe you if you don't have a picture. Then fill out your personal info... people like people they can relate to! Like I like to meet other Reliv distributors or chefs. These are things we have in common and we can talk about them.
Also that box that is under your picture... I call that the unique selling box... write something that is unique about you or your business. Something that will grab people's attention!

2. Make Friends- Connect with people.
Search groups and find people. When you connect with them, leave them a little message. Find something of interest and ask them about it. People like to know that they are important....

3. If you are using other social sites like twitter, blogging, and such... invite them to your facebook. FB is about getting to know people. So let people in and get to know you.

4. Do a welcome video. Post on your wall a video saying Hi and introducing yourself. It is amazing what a little video can do! (think of it this way... don't you want a phone that you can have video and talk also?) this is the way we are trending... get ahead of the trend! Also tag your friends when you make this video... why??? because it shows up on their feed and you just met a new friend!

5. Last but not least do a Birthday Video!! OMG don't you just love when people remember the little details about you! How about getting a video birthday card. It shows that you care and that they are important to you!

6. Bonus nugget!
Facebook is also all about pictures. In the pictures your can tag people. If you are doing something with your company or won an award.. tag your friends in it.

So don't push your product or business... build your network of friends... be sociable!
