Can The N-Factor help you be successful inMLm?


Yes. Most in deed!

In my first year, I was taught to focus on getting so many Yes's a day, Talk to
at least 5-10 people a day, and so on and so on. Sounds familiar? When I think about it, that was the primary goal. When I started in this industry, I was not prepared for the rejection known as The N- factor.

So, here I am focusing on the Yes's and getting hit hard time and time again by the almighty No's.
Well, the truth was, I was getting more No's than Yes's. I went through so many No's that when I got the Yes's it was like I hit a home run. Well, some of the Yes's came into the business, but often turn out to be a No's waiting in the the back ground. Meaning, they change their yes to a No.

Later on in my first year, I met an extremely successul network marketer at event in Minneapolis. He said, you are a true leader and you have what it takes to be a millionaire in this business but you need to focus on the N-factor.
I said, what do u mean? He said , focus on how many No's you getting instead of the yes's.

Now , why on earth do I want to focus on No's. I am trying to build a business, not tear it down by going through all these no's. For me, I did not even like dealing with the No's. If I could read someone's mind who was thinking no as an anwer, I would avoid them like the plague.

But any way, he said, "you are going all about this all wrong". If you focus on trying to get 10 no's a day, it will change your attitude and you will find that the frustrations will lessen and soon disappear.

What I learned through this experience, it's not about getting everyone to say yes to your opportunity. It's about exposing them to it. Even if they said No ,you still expose them anyway. Right? When they say No, leave a geat impression anyway. They will remember you. You have to sort and look for people who have the similar qualities. You will only know this by going through the N factor. Always!, Always ! Leave a powerful impression by saying, Thank you and I truely wish you much success. Sound genuine and polite.
The truth ? Each No will get you closer to a Yes.

As the process continue ,the No's did not even phase me. When someone says No to me, I realized, it's not there time yet to take on any opportunity.If a person window of opportunity is not open, the world's greatest opportunity by Bill Gates would not matter. Getting ten No's day, is simply talking to ten people a day.
What I learned is to take the No for what it is, get my referrals if they are open and move on.

My sister would sit and hear me do calls and say, how can u be so polite to those people who are so mean. I looked at her and say, It's the N factor that counts.

So the next time u get in your prospecting mode, remember to embrace the N-factor. Thank God for one less person you don't have to deal with no time soon. We all have to go thru this in our mlm journey .You are not alone here.
Just know,you are only getting closer to the nest with the golden eggs. Jump for joy!
