Internet IE vs. MozillaFireFox?

I thought I would share with everyone my personal opinion between Internet IE and MozillaFireFox. Friends don’t let friends use Internet Explorer. My preference is MozillaFirefox. Let’s face it Internet Explorer is a piece of junk and if your still using it I might just have to come find you.

The first step you want to do is go download and install MozillaFirefox. You can find it by typing firefox into your search bar and hit enter. It should be one of the first results you see. Then you want to install MozillaFireFox, when you are installing it will ask you if you would like to make MozillaFireFox your default browser, and of course you will want to select yes. You do not want to completely uninstall Internet IE because you may still need to use it from time to time.

Here’s the juice why I like to use MozillaFirefox. For one thing it’s completely faster and totally user friendly, and they have some cool add ons that I would like to share with you today. The following add ons are for MozillaFireFox and consist of the add ons I personally use. I’ll just list the in alphabeticle order.

• AddThis is an add used for social bookmarking services. They have most of the social bookmarking services listed here and it’s a great way to keep social bookmarking simple.

• AlexaSparky is an add on that shows a little status bar revealing the Alexa site ranking for the site you are browsing. For those of you who don’t already know, Alexa is a service that ranks internet sites by popularity and traffic.

• ColorfulTabs. This add on actually colors your tabbed browsing tabs. It’s pretty and my daughter sure liked it.

• Easy YouTube Video Downloader This add on places downloading links for four different file typed inside youtube and underneath the description of any YouTube video you may be watching and allows you to download the video if you wish and as long as the user has specified that allows emdeding.

• Fast Dial is an add on that replaces the blank screen when you open a new tab to one that has web site bookmarks saved so that you can have easy access to all your favorite web sites.

• FireFTP is one of my favorite downloads and it is an FTP program that allows you to upload files directly to your server right from firefox. The add on shows under tools in the top of the browser.

• OnlyWire is another social bookmarking service I use and it allows you to automatically social bookmark any website you want to the top 28 social bookmarking sites.

• Read It Later is another add on you can use and it helps to keep your bookmarks from getting cluttered. If you are viewing a site and you don’t have the time to read it you can always bookmark it under read it later and then later decide if it’s worthy enough to add to your regular bookmarks or not.

• Smart Bookmarks Bar is an absolute essential add on that ads a bar into your browser which allows you to add and bookmark your favorite sites to the bar by simply dragging the tab you would like to add to the bar. It then ads that site as a bookmark to the bar. You can udjust the size of the bookmark as well to include or exclude descriptions.

• Twittin Secrets Twitter Tip Toolbar is another useful tool if you like to tweet. It gives you speedy access to your twitter account and contains some helpful tips and useful bookmarks all pertaining to twitter.

• Xmarks is a bookmark synchronization service that will allow you to have access to your bookmarks from other computers.That’s about all the mozillafirefox add ons I recommend. Of course there are many others and you will want to explore them to consider which would be best for you.
