Do You Have Faith?

Faith is The Belief of all things yet to be seen. Faith does not come with Proof or Evidence.

One evening a middle age woman walks out of the doctor's office, at a local hospital, her arms raised and giving praises to God. She has just received the confirmation to the good news she faithfully knew to be true. While walking back to the waiting area she passes the emergency room and notices three men sitting there in obvious sufferings. She enters and walks over to the first man who is clinching his chest and having difficulty breathing. The woman places her hands on the man's chest and says a few words of prayer. She moves to the second man who is blind and has a gray neutral color in his eyes. She puts both her hands over his eyes and, again, says a few words of prayer. She then approaches the third man who is sitting in a wheel chair and has no use of his legs. As she is about to place her hands on his legs he backs her off saying, "That's OK Lady. I don't need none of your magical abracadabras." Without pressing, the woman returns to the waiting room.

In a few short minutes the first man unclinches his chest, stands up, takes a deep breath and sighes in contentment. The painful grief his face wore has now turned into a smile as the man turns and calmly walks out of the emergency room. He waves a thankful hand at the woman and mouthes, "To God be the Glory."
A few minutes later the second man stands up. His eyes are sharp and crystal bright. He looks all around the emergency room and he, too, has a growing delight on his face as he turns and exits the hospital leaving his seeing eye cane behind. He looks directly into the woman's eyes and gives thanks to the Lord.
Seeing this the third man calls for the woman to come back and pleads with her to do for him what he has seen her do for the other two. The woman obliges, places hers hands on the man's legs and says a few words of prayer. When she has finished, the woman goes back into the waiting area.

After a few minutes the third man raises himself out of his wheel chair, stands straight up, smiles, turns and colapses hard to the floor. He calls to the woman again wanting to know why he had not been healed like the others. The woman replies, "You were totally without Faith. You wanted proof and evidence first. You cannot have both faith and proof. You can only have one. Enjoy your proof."
