Get Back Up

I saw a Youtube video from Tania Mesar about not giving up even when you don’t reach your goals.  This is something I have heard a lot about and could totally relate to so I wanted to share.

The last 2 years I have been extremely sick with (WNV) West Nile Virus.  I stopped counting how many times it knocked me down and I got back up.  Having a job, friends, canine companion, and family kept me going. Through the struggle I tried working a business on top of surviving.  At one point I said I have to take a break and rest.  I did not give up.   

As I started to improve from 40% to 70% to 90% capacity I found I fell down A LOT.  I thought I was ‘normal’ again and I would hit life head on, make goals, and then crash.  A wise friend told me, that it is ok to miss goals, and you just have to get back up.  It may be harder to do then say.  In that struggle, I am truly working on what my purpose in life is with the second chance I was given.  I listened to a lecture from a wise man that said you fall down and get back up, fall down and get back up.  My grandfather use to tell me to stop crying, move on, it is done, and get back up.  One night I watched an episode of Sex in the City where Carrie Bradshaw was on the runway as a model and she fell in front of everyone.  She got back up finished the walk, another model high fived her.  She said life is full of falling down, the getting back up is part of reality.   

For a month I focused on my health and adjusting to a new lifestyle.  As that became routine I am adding a little life back in one at a time.  I learned to listen to my heart and soul when it said stop. I learned to get back up, set goals, and try again.  The biggest part in life and a business is not giving up.  Internet marketing is about learning a little, doing a little consistently and not giving up.
