A real Crisis!
Since becoming proudly unemployable, there's not much that can get to me and rile me anymore. Life is simple and peaceful the way it should be, work a little, fish a lot! So the crisis I write about may not be a big deal in the outcome of the evolution of the world, or the advancement of future generations, but it was a big event for me in an otherwise peaceful evening fishing on the lake!
I recently purchased a new rig, fishing pole (called the "Ugly Stick") and a new reel ( called the "Ugly Spinner") and a pile of tackle. Since I'm living on one of the best fishing lakes in the lower 48, I invested in these tools to make the best of my summer past time, chilling out on the lake, and wetting a line!
The "Ugly Stick" is touted to be unbreakable, and shows a dude bending it all the way back on its self. I figured the same would apply to the "Ugly Spinner" and bought the matching set. A word of warning, don't believe everything you read when it comes to fishing equipment, or anything else for that matter! Be a critical thinker, and always keep your receipts!
So, the boy and I are out fishing the other evening, and having a great time of it! We had just about used up all the night crawlers, and were fixin to head home, as they say here in southern Missouri. I thought I'd cast a couple more times, as we made our way back to shore. A huge fish leaped out of the water, just a few feet from the boat, I mean a monster! In my excitement to throw my hook into the center of the ripples where it had just splashed down, I let it fly, and was dismayed to see half of the "Ugly Spinner" fly off my pole and plop into the water, gone forever...
"Damn, there goes my fishing!" I exclaimed, as the boy sat there chuckling. I gathered up the pieces parts, and carried it on home, a bit dejected, but not too much. I'll just go buy another reel tomorrow and try again... Don't ever fall for the "hype" when it comes to fishing or Network Marketing.
Like Network Marketing, it will take more than a mini crisis to make me want to quit fishing!

There´s always a bigger fish
If you loose some you get some, I think there is some kind of balance in the world. I had a prospect going on and she was on her way to sign when she change her mind. I really wanted this women to be a member in my team because she have som skills that I was lack of. So, I was a little bit disapointed, but the next day an other women showed her interest in network marketing, and she was even better for my purpose in the team. She signed up and now she is a very devoted team member and I thought- there is always a bigger fish, but not in the negativ way, but in the way that, if you loose some you get some- and it could be even better.
So keep up the good work, good things comes to them who good things do.
