Why do we keep poisons in our homes?

I just read a fairly scary pair of stories regarding the danger of hand sanitizers.

I guess my question would be "Why have this garbage in your home?"

There are safe alternatives I have found. I am converting my house to NON-poisonous cleansers, personal care products etc.

I owe that to my grandson who visits me, not to mention... to me and to my 92 year old Dad, who lives with me.
