Sometimes its Damn Hard to Get Motivated!

"The Flow" Where did it go? When your day starts off slow, the thing that always works for me is to take some action. Any action will do, even if its just writing a single word. One word leads to two, that leads to an idea, and like a dammed up creek, the creative vacuum opens up and releases the flow of energy, back into what it is your working on.

It helps to get out and clear your head, get into nature, get some air and sunshine! I took the kayak out on the lake this morning, paddled across to the other side, wet a line, put my feet up, tipped my Cowboy hat over my nose and drifted along the shoreline. I had sunfish stripping the worm off the hook, and didn't care, let em have it! Caught a few, let em go.. Catch and release is more sporting, the fish love you for it too!

Then back to the computer, and the universal energy called Internet. I see people are using Michael Jackson with there viral marketing headlines, hmmm, I'm really going to open that one! It's laughable really, come on people! Are folks really that gullible?

10 pages of a good book will get the juices flowing, and give you ideas to write about too! Use other peoples content when your brain is stuck in nuetral, you help them by giving their work exposure, and you help others who benefit from the content. So I'm half way up to speed now, had my tea, and on to a productive prosperous day! Hope this finds you all well and happy! By the way, don't forget to keep the momentum going through the weekend, it may be a holiday, but you can always find a few minutes to sneak off and do a little fun work, working toward accomplishing your dreams! It's harder to get started Monday morning, if you've done absolutely nothing over the week end.
