Trying to ask a legitimate question i hope someone has time to answer

Ok so im working on my sales funnel and i have always used 1shoppingcart.com. But i recently switched open to aweber. I find aweber to be much easier to use and i like the fact that it send my leads an opt in email and keeps them from saying that you are spamming them with information they requested.

But i have heard that 1shoppingcart.com, and icontact are far superior to aweber but i don't really no why or how. If all i am doing is using the autoresponder for email marketing with aweber i don't understand why i would need 1shoppingcart or Icontact even for merchant services (once i do become that sophisticated) paypay or clickbank could pretty much do that for me i guess, or am i just suffering from a lack of knowledge like i did when i use to sell soap door to door back in the day and then tell the person that told me get lost "hey by the way meet me tonight at his hotel it'll be fun**wink**" lol .

I just dont want to once my organization grows have to make a large change and relearn a new system after getting comfortable with aweber. If aweber will eventually become obsolete somebody let me know. I don't want to make a future challenge for myself. Any big money earner out there who has a substantial list or even somebody who may not but is just real tech savvy hook a brother up with some knowledge.
