Social Networking: Who does it benefit? I'm Confused!
Well I am confused and maybe even a little upset. I have been in the industry for a couple of years
and think of myself as a leader, because I am always out to help people or add value to their life.
I thought I would give this 'free' type of branding myself. It is called social networking. I primarily do
other methods to build my business , but what the heck this is free, right? Well I set up some accounts
on a few sites to try this out.
I am NOT liking what I see!! Ok, first of all if you have had any training in your marketing industry, what is
it that they taught you first??? It was to brand yourself and add value to peoples business or life. You were
taught to give and NOT take first. All anyone wants to do is just post a link or biz opportunity on all your
homepages. I opened up a facebook account and also a twitter account. I think that about 85% of the
people on facebook forgot that rule, as all I see on the walls of many people are links, links, and more
biz links. Do not even get me started on the Twitter craze. Bunch of sharks out there posting everywhere.
Ya I could get about 4,000 followers , but are they just following me in hopes that I will follow them or
are they actually ready to learn or give back value?
I just hope that I dont get corrupted in the spamming of my links. Um, no. I will not be that person. I offer
atleast 4-5 valuable tips to people before I give up a link to something that I use for running my business. I do
not promote my primary business upfront. Rule #2. Ha. I only suggest tools / systems that I use to duplicate
or replicate my actions. I cant be up 24/7 all day doing all the work.
Systems build wealth , BUT People build Relationships! !
Enough Said.
