I'm alllll about the money.. or am I?
That’s what I get from some people.
They say, “how come you’re all about the money?” or old friends from the previous life, “I liked how you were before – man, you’ve changed!”
Honestly, I can take the words of Tony Robbins and apply them to my life now….
“It’s not that I’m all about the money, guys – I’m just not about being broke anymore.”
What’s really cool, is that broke is a mentality - and you can decide not to think that way anymore.
Want to know what’s really crazy?
The mentality of poverty – is alllll about the money.
huh??
yup..
The mentality of poverty is alllll about the money.
Think about it – when you’re working your 40 hours a week (usually more) what are you doing 95% of your waking moments?
Tryna make some money.
Why can’t you spend more than 3 or 4 hours a week as a family?
oh… you’re tryna make some money.
Why do you go to work every day for 40+ years?
Oh. I see.
Do you get it?? It’s the poverty mentality that is allll about the money – and for some reason the poor think that anyone making more than them (especially passively) is alllll about the money.
Here’s the lowdown on a poverty mentality:
You have to work very hard for money.
There is a limited amount of money.
Save some money for a rainy day.
People with more than enough money are selfish.
You need money to make money.
My job ‘Pays the Bills’.
When is pay day anyway?
Here is what the wealthy think:
I create new opportunities for others.
I love coming up with new solutions every day!
Who can I serve?
I can’t wait to learn new leadership skills!
What can I give to society that will give it greater value?
The funny thing is – when they do that – money starts working for them.
When you think about it, it just makes sense, doesn’t it?
If you focus on making a living, you’ll just make a living.
So, it’s not all about the money – I completely agree.
But if you never think like the wealthy, you will be enslaved to poverty.
Where it’s alllll about the money.
Take hold of your mind – stop listening to yourself, and start talking to yourself.
Embrace the new mentality.
A great place to start would be to surround yourself with others who think like you want to.
And you will begin the journey that leads to a life of prosperity – not disparity.
Blessings!
