Find The Child Within You!

As I watch my nine month old granddaughter learn to walk she falls many times and always gets up and tries again and again. She never gives up. It is not an option for her not to walk! She only knows that this is something she must do. She will keep trying till she can walk, then run. Right now she can take six steps without help and beams with joy! Her determination and goal is to walk. That is her focus for today. Her journey has just begun and learning will never end. Babies know what they have to do and let nothing get in their way. Babies never say, oh this is to hard, I think I will just stay down here on the floor. I look at her and think, how as we get older we lose our focus. We no longer apply ourselves to a goal and keep going till it is accomplished. We get side tracked by the many things that are going on in our lives and we get knocked down and sometimes never get back up. If you could only find that child within you again, all that you want in life could be yours. Learn from the babies, never give up on your dreams, continue to learn, and when you get knocked down, and you will, always get back up. Find that child within you.

Learning from the life lessons of children

I love the lessons we can learn from our children and grandchildren. They are always learning and growing, just like we need to be! I appreciate you Alice!

Anything is possible

This reminds me of the time when my grandson saw me quilting. He asked me to make clothes for his bear. When I said I didn't know how he said, yes you can do it and he wouldn't take no for an answer.

Like him and most children, they believe anything is possible. As adults that should also be our attitude.
