Getting Started With MLM The Right Way....

Do you tell them you are making big money even though you are merely starting out yourself?
Are you giving your prospects false hopes and dreams, by telling them misleading information in order to get them to sign up with you?
Is your upline sponsor or leaders teaching you to "fake it till you make it"?
If you are mentally saying "YES" to any of these questions, you need to rethink your strategy.
By "faking it till you make it" you are only setting yourself up for failure. How long do you think you can keep up that story? You know it's going to get old after a while, and soon you'll get caught up in you own lies. Is that the kind of reputation you want to build for yourself? Of course not!
I would imagine you would want to be trained the right way, and have someone actually show you how to build a business the honest way, by telling your prospects the truth...don' you?
Show your prospects you are duplicatable by telling them what they need to hear, not what you think they want to hear. Be honest with them, don't pitch them some rediculous income they should expect to be recieving in a short amount of time. Let them know they'll have to put in the time it takes to grow their business, and let them know you will be help them.
People purchase from people, not companies. You are their first contact with the company, if you don't present yourself in the right way where you can start developing trust immediately, you are not going to get very far.
Sure you may be able to "sell" them into your business, but do you want to have to do that every month in order to keep them active? Of course not! You want them to sell themselves on the idea of joining you.
As with any job you encounter in the "real world", you need to be properly trained in order to do your job more effectively.

I totally agree with what you say about "fake it till you make it". People who do that give network marketing a bad name. I am one of those squeaky clean, honest people who is not even capable of faking it. I think that my honesty will serve me well, though, and help me to attract other leaders who are honest and straightforward about this business.
