Who is holding YOU back from success?
Can I do better? Can I become a more affective person? Am I capable of becoming a successful person?
Who is holding me back from succeeding?
This question was "posed" to me a while back in an email I received from renowned Marketing Leader, "Joe LoBolsomo" in one of his newsletters he is "famous" for.
Joe begins this peticualr "newsletter", by mentioing movie "GI Jane".This is a movie staring Demi Moore, it shows how her character had to overcome many obsticles when joining up with the Navy SEALS as a female. As the movie goes on, she ultimately prevails by proving she wasn't the real problem the SEALS had to deal with, they, themselves were.
It managed to cause me to stop and think for a minute. Suprisingly, that email caused me to question my abilities as a "useful" person. I actually came up with quite a few questions I had to answer for myself.
"Am I, or am I not succeeding in what I'm striving to do?"
"Am I puting forth the effort it takes to succeed?"
"Am I actually providing useful information to the public, that they don't already know?"
"Am I becoming the person I want to be?"
To answer these questions, I had to search deep within myself for the answers I wanted to find. Nonetheless, I've found that within the past few weeks, I've developed into a much better writer than I was before "re-discovering" BetterNetworker.com.
The amount of information found within the forums, articles, and blogs here at BetterNetworker is phenominal!
I encourage each of you reading this blog, to answer each of these questions for yourself.
Then, an only then, will you reveal to yourself the actual effort you have ultimately provided, in becoming the person you have become today.
Can you do better? Can you become a more affective person? Are you capable of becoming a successful person?
Only YOU can answer these questions.
Hope this helps!

Because I'm still trying to "get the hang of it", I managed to confuse myself in knowing the difference between an "article" from a "blog". After reading my 1st response to this "posting", I now have a better idea of the difference between the 2. However, though I've "reposted" this very same information in the articles section, I wanted to keep it up (here as well) to prove point.
"Don't be afraid to ask questions." This forum is not only designed to help you become a better networker, but help develop better leadership qualities as well as becoming a more affective person as well.
