Today's tithe money will go towards our church's mission for Habitat for Humanity. We do a lot of work within our community and this is a great cause. So $6800 toward HFH. It will go to great use.
The rest of the money ($61,200) will be used to furnish the upstairs in the Ave Maria Home. We will need beds for the Master BR, plus the other 4 bed rooms upstairs. I will completely furnish them all nicely, but 2 of the bedrooms will be like guest rooms, so I won't go so crazy with those. I will get a tempur pedic mattresses for all the bedrooms with a flat screened tv for my room and the girl's rooms. Nightstands, bed linens that are 500 count or higher for the best comfort, drapes, a rug, a beautiful dresser that matches my headboard...I have always wanted a sleigh bed or maybe a 4 poster would be better. Yes, a 4 poster bed would be nice. One of the girls rooms will have the sleigh bed. I could visit it. :) The list could go on and on, but you get the picture!
