I thought everyone here on BetterNetworker would enjoy hearing what my experience is with BN so far. For my USANA business, I subscribe to several e-mail lists, and I recently submitted two e-mails to one of those lists. This is the first of the two. I'll post the second in a subsequent blog entry. I use LinkedIn and Facebook regularly, and Twitter because of its connection to other sites (which I'm still learning about). There is, however, one more site I highly recommend: BetterNetworker.com. My profile can be found at:

There are two main reasons that I like BetterNetworker.com so much. First of all, it is a social networking site specifically designed for home-based business owners. Secondly, they have very strict rules about appropriate and inappropriate behavior.

This second point is significant, and we can all use it in our own prospecting practices. One's account can be terminated if one blatantly recruits on BetterNetworker.com. Furthermore, the idea is to provide value to the other members on the site. You do this by uploading videos, posting blog entries, writing articles, and the like, and they should be helpful in a generic sort of way. The good news is that BetterNetworker.com provides great training on how to set up your profile and use the site appropriately.

The principle is simple: Provide something of value for free, and you'll attract the right type of people to your business.

I have found BetterNetworker.com to be invaluable in building my USANA business, and I invite your readership to check it out.

I plan to continue using Facebook and LinkedIn, but BetterNetworker.com stands head and shoulders above the rest for people like us in network marketing.

My two cents. I'm just glad finally to give back to this great forum I've received so much from over the years.
