5 Best Personal Landing Pages

Hello BetterNetworker Member's,

I thought I would share this cool new option I found on Lifehacker.com

Everyone is always looking for new ways to market YOU Inc. online and I think this is a great option especially for those members that are just starting out developing their web presents and have not got around to developing a full fledged website or blog.

Personal Landing pages are a small scale website where you can link all of your personal profiles such as Twitter,Facebook,YouTube and others to one central location without writing and linking a laundry list of sites.

Lifehacker came up with a list of the Top 5 sites that help you unify your sites. Here is the list:

1. Unhub
2. Card.ly
3. Flavors.me
4. Chi.mp
5. ClaimID

Each on of these sites has its own very distinct type of personal marketing. For example: 

Unhub is not as much a landing page but more of a landing bar. When you give someone your Unhub url a bar comes across the top of the browser page with your featured site below. All of your other profiles are on the Unhub bar at the top of the page.

Card.ly is exactly what it sounds like. A virtual business card that you can customize with other Web 2.0 sites

Flavors.me is more geared toward personal style. Flavors.me is designed to showcase a personal photo or artwork with links to your other profiles inlayed on top of the page.

Chi.mp takes personal customization to another level. Chi.mp lets you create as many profiles as you would like and emphasize certain content over others. You can make a professional profile,personal profile and others and emphasize your Twitter feed if you thought that was more important to your readers.

ClaimID is more geared toward the artistic side. Making yourself stand out from the crowd. ClaimID is more limited than the others and lacks some of the eyecandy of the other pages.
