Im afraid I disagree with you Arthur.
I can certainly think for myself but treasure my mentor as he guides me on ways and means of developing a team on the web. There is a lot to learn and it takes a lot of trial and error to do it all on your own.
And - you are right, if you want to be part of a team....and you are a fool if you think you can do this business as a solitary creature, you do need to be a coach, and a mentor, and a friend. What I appreciate most about my mentor is the team he has connected me with so that I am not floundering out there on my own all alone. That has multiplied my effectiveness and ability to duplicate my efforts.
As Mentoring for Free says it is about teaching HOW to think and work, NOT WHAT to think that is shared.
