The Fantastic Four
Although I don’t mind the cartoon or the movie, this isn’t about Reed Richards and his buddies! Instead I recently had the pleasure of spending the day with four of the greatest business minds on the planet when they came to Brisbane, Australia.
As soon as I heard that Jay Conrad Levinson, Joel Roberts, Kerwin Rae and Sean Rasmussen were heading to town, I made damn sure that I was going to be there to meet the fantastic four!
When Kerwin Rae hit the stage, the whole dynamic of the room changed instantly! Being a sales and marketing specialist who is an expert in Joint Ventures, Kerwin revealed a number of powerful online and offline business and marketing strategies that has helped him make tens of millions of dollars for clients around the globe.
Joel Roberts had spent years as a talk back radio host in the most cut-throat media domain on the planet...Los Angeles!
After an accident left him with limited hearing in his left ear, he turned his focus to educating the best in the business on the power of communication. His clients include Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul) Steven Covey (The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People) as well as numerous Fortune 500 Corporations, celebrities and politicians.
Sean Rasmussen is one of the most influential affiliate and internet marketers in Australia and has been named in the Top 10 Bloggers on the net. After leaving his job as an electrician, Sean pursued a career in marketing online and within 3 years he was averaging a phenomenal $60,000 a week in affiliate sales!
Anyone who has ever seen the Marlboro Man or the Pillsbury Dough Boy has witnessed the handy work of Jay Conrad Levinson. The father of Guerrilla Marketing is one of the most successful and influential marketers in modern history and his Guerrilla Marketing philosophy is an essential part of major business schools across the globe.
And although I’d read and applied some of their material in recent times, watching them live and having the chance to meet each of them during the day was an experience I’ll never forget. You can read books and watch videos, but actually being there just helps to reinforce just how influential these people can be.
Whenever you have a chance to see a leader in your industry perform live, do whatever you can to attend and take away from the event as much as possible. It could be a new idea or strategy to implement. It could be networking with others and meeting a potential client or partner. It could even be a simple sentence, phrase or quote that makes you take action on something big!
I can safely say that seeing Jay Conrad Levinson, Joel Roberts, Kerwin Rae and Sean Rasmussen live in Brisbane was one of the most rewarding and thought provoking days I’ve ever had and I’m so glad I made the effort to attend.
Stay Gold!
